The Senior Compensation Analyst develops, implements, and administers compensation policy, procedures, practices, and programs. This position will be responsible for conducting salary surveys and studying labor markets to determine compensation trends; analyzes jobs, and reviews job descriptions and specifications; applies job evaluation techniques to establish compensation rates that are internally equitable and market competitive; analyzes government regulations and company policies to establish standard rates; provides guidance and consultation with internal stakeholders on all compensation issues; and interprets local, state, and federal laws regulating compensation practices.

Position Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

1. Administer base pay and incentive programs, including annual merit/promotional increase and bonus cycles.
2. Provide data guidance to HR Business Partners and Management on compensation matters of moderate to high complexity.
3. Lead companywide market pricing studies, salary survey participation, and base pay evaluations; determines appropriate survey benchmarks for jobs at Scientific Games.
4. Ensures compliance with FLSA, DOL, federal, state and local regulations regarding pay and compensation.
5. Partner with leaders and HRBPs to ensure the success of Scientific Games compensation programs.
6. Perform ad hoc compensation analysis and planning to continuously improve base pay, incentive pay, equity programs and processes.
7. Audit compensation plans and reconcile issues with vendor(s) and/or payroll.
8. Work with HRIS to align systems with compensation needs in support of overall roadmap.
9. Equity Administration and serve as contact with the vendor and assist with communication processes.
10. Partner with Business Managers, HR, and Recruitment staff on compensation related inquiries and provide guidance.
11. Other Compensation related projects as assigned.



• Bachelor’s degree
• CCP Designation

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of compensation experience that represents increasing levels of responsibility.
• Knowledge and experience identifying and completing comprehensive salary surveys.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing and implementing base pay, and cash incentive programs.
• Analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
