KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We have an excellent opportunity for an Operational Risk Consultant in Enterprise Information Technology. In this new role you will be responsible for representing EIT and Technology risk as part of the Enterprise’s Risk Measurement program, specifically through the Risk Appetite program. This is a highly visible program with stringent requirements and tight deadlines. The work conducted by this person will be considered very sensitive. This person will assist with representing EIT’s position on policy and program requirements back to the Risk Appetite program. On a monthly and quarterly basis, this person will work with stakeholders within EIT to represent risk back through the enterprise program. The monthly and quarterly requirements vary, but all requirements have specific deadlines. Deadlines need to be managed in order to give stakeholders enough time to offer input, and for subsequent changes to be made prior to submission to the Enterprise. Maintaining rationale of why EIT and Technology risk is represented the way it is will be an important responsibility for this person. The successful candidate will have a well-rounded risk and/or technical background. The candidate will need to understand technology risk concepts and controls. The candidate will need to translate technical information to non-technical individuals in oral and written formats.
Other Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in a technology environment within the last 8 years
- Degree in Technology or related field
- Related certification (e.g. CISSP, CISA, GIAC, etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate with peers, engineers, administrators and various levels of management
