TRAINING DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR, ADVISOR, OR CONSULTANT

NOTE: The position will be filled as a Training and Development Coordinator (grade E31), Advisor (grade E32), or Consultant (grade E32) depending on candidate qualifications.
The primary function of this position is to provide training and development opportunities for the Weber State University campus community. Functions include the development and presentation of courses aimed at supporting staff through development of skills in the areas of supervision, management, interpersonal relationships, customer service, safety, and technology.
The position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources.
Skill / Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Instructional Design/related field or equivalent experience.
Coordinator: 0 to 3 years of related experience.
Advisor: 4 to 7 year of related experience.
Consultant: 7+ years of related experience.
Masters Degree a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to perform job duties without supervision.
Ability to maintain a high level of discretion when working with information of a confidential or sensitive nature.
Ability to interact with a diverse workforce.
Ability to conduct assessments, develop, train, and evaluate training.
