Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Talent Development Specialist to join Global Talent Development team in Newark, Delaware.

In this role, you will partner with functional sales leaders to design effective learning initiatives for Associates worldwide. You will support the development of functional excellence associates across Gore’s diverse business divisions. In this role, you will lead with sophisticated consultation and design skills and be hands-on in the entire process of designing, delivering and evaluating learning initiatives for the United States, Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities include:

* Assessing and communicating learning needs by working directly with the Sales and Marketing Talent Development leader and the Enterprise Sales Functional Excellence team

* Partnering with the Sales and Marketing Talent Development leader , the Sales Functional Excellence team and Talent Managers to prioritize talent development needs and solutions

* Partnering with Talent Managers and Enterprise Sales Functional Excellence team  to establish metrics , create reports and track progress and effectiveness  of talent development solutions 

* Leveraging current and emerging learning technology to respond to audience needs

* Managing competencies and creating scalable training curricula and processes to support achievement of performance and growth objectives

* Partnering with internal subject matter experts to propose, source and/or design learning solutions to close performance gaps or support emerging requirements

* Managing the delivery of world-class training programs for audiences globally

* Driving the communication, delivery, and continuous improvement of curriculum and support systems

* Collaborating with Global Talent Development Team members to maximize individual and enterprise learning

* Championing and providing guidance on formal and informal learning and development


* Bachelor's degree

* Minimum of 5 years of experience with adult learning, to include a combination of instructional design and delivery of training in a university or corporate setting

* Experience working on global teams and addressing cultural differences while  meeting targeted learning needs

* Proven ability to implement a strategic Talent Development Plan that drives measurable business results

* Strong internal consulting and project management skills, including conducting needs assessment, diagnosing, contracting, planning, implementing, and measuring results

* Knowledge of Sales disciplines

* Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams around common goals and objectives

* Superior program delivery and group facilitation skills

* Ability to:

* Design blended learning solutions

* Travel 15% of time to domestically and internationally

Desired Job Qualifications:

* Master's degree

* Experience operating in an integrated talent management environment

* Experience in assessing, selecting and applying current and emerging digital and virtual technologies to meet development needs

* Proven ability to optimize organizational learning through knowledge management strategies and practices
