The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. is in search of a Seasonal Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our Human Resources team. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is responsible for staffing for our busy season, which includes interviewing, organizing, data entry, scheduling, performing orientations, processing paperwork. Maintain confidentiality in dealing with employee records and business information. Consistently work within multiple HR software applications to manage our HRIS function. Conduct orientation of seasonal employees and answer questions from seasonal employees and applicants (whether in person, email or on the phone). Support HR by coordinating, setting up and administering all seasonal HR functions. This is a seasonal position lasting approximately 6 months.
The ideal candidate has excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills. Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly. Must be extremely flexible and able to multitask and work in team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Google Suite. Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in recruitment preferred but not required
