Position Summary

The University of New Mexico Division of Human Resources strives to deliver exceptional service and resources to make employees' lives better every day. Our fast-paced UNM Staffing Services team seeks an HR Analyst - Recruitment to join us. We provide full cycle recruiting services to University departments for temporary and regular staff positions.

As a UNM Staffing Services Human Resources Analyst, you will provide recruitment and hiring support to internal UNM clients which will include:

  • Providing full cycle and a la carte staffing services which include creating requisitions, advertising, sourcing, screening, endorsing top candidates, coordinating interviews, reference checking, and preparing hiring requests, for both regular staff employees and temporary staff employees.
  • Actively participating in the design, implementation and marketing of UNM Staffing Services programs and initiatives.
  • Developing excellent relationships with University departments, proactively promoting UNM Staffing Services, and driving our programs and initiatives forward.
  • Teaching hiring-related courses and presenting hiring-related material

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with providing full life cycle recruiting/staffing services for a variety of clients.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple priorities and a variety of employment transactions and requests in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) and other HRIS systems.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Experience working within a higher education institution.
