Human Resources Specialist (Non-Exempt)/ HR Department
at Sunset Community Health Center
To provide administrative support of day-to day Human Resources operations and personnel matters. Duties include high volume prescreening of candidates, reference checks, employment verification and application tracking, computer entry and file maintenance, assisting candidates and employees with personnel matters. Able to work in a confidential manner in dealing with sensitive employee relations issues, training, benefits, and compensation. Works closely with hiring managers for their departmental hiring needs.
High school diploma or G.E.D. Associated Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school, or two years recent related experience in direct human resource recruiting, preferable in a medical environment. Knowledge in HRIS and payroll systems and/or training, and experience in personnel and benefits issues, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card. If not already obtained, Fingerprint Clearance card application must be submitted within 5 business days of employment.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and a health and drug screen.
