Job Description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for collaborating with the Compensation Manager on a variety of aspects including the design, analysis, implementation and maintenance of the Seminole Tribe of Florida's compensation programs and pay structures. The individual provide in-depth analysis of market data and provide guidance on the overall compensation strategy relative to market competitiveness. The Compensation Analyst conducts analysis on internal and external salary statistics; reviews, audits and analyzes positions, including job descriptions; prepares cost analysis reports and recommends salary ranges and position classification based on salary benchmark/market pricing surveys. The incumbent provides guidance to executives, directors, managers, and employees regarding compensation issues involving the interpretation and application of compensation management policies, guidelines, and procedures. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in the compensation and classification area of human resources is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered. Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems, is preferred. Demonstrate strong analytical skills needed to review statistical reports in order to make practical sound recommendations Demonstrate strong project management skills with the ability to handle complex issues. Demonstrate good evaluation skills and the ability to convey information in legible reports. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of technology and proficiency in the use of spreadsheet, word processing, data management, and presentation applications. Demonstrate advanced excel knowledge and application. Ability to travel across reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
