We are seeking a New Employee Orientation Trainer on our Learning & Development Team. This role ensures the effective implementation of New Employee Orientation for domestic staff and Disaster Response teams. You will be given the opportunity to assist with developing, scheduling, executing, and evaluating training and performance management for Samaritan’s Purse orientation programs. Working closely with various ministry departments, the Trainer continually improves orientation and training content to ensure participants are aligned with the ministry vision and mandate, and prepared for service with Samaritan’s Purse.

A day in the life of a New Employee Orientation Trainer:
At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and then we join together to pray for one another, our staff and volunteers serving around the globe.
In the role of a New Employee Orientation Trainer, you will:
- Develop, coordinate, and execute all orientation program training for new employees and Disaster Assistance Response Team members.
- Support the development, implementation, facilitation, and management of training materials.
- With guidance from the Learning & Development Assistant Director, utilize proven training design and adult learning strategies to ensure that all learning is aligned with departmental goals.
- Assist with the development, review, and improvement of orientation training and curriculum, conducting needs analysis to help determine overall effectiveness and recommending improvements for future offerings.
- Identify, recommend, and apply proven adult learning design principles to deliver classroom-style training, job aids, and informal learning opportunities that support the orientation programs, drawing on the expertise of Learning & Development and other training experts.
- Work closely with the Training Coordinator to ensure all event logistics, communications, and presentations are completed with excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A personal, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and desire to continue being an active, consistent witness for Him.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and three (3) to five (5) years of event facilitation, live training delivery, or other related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
