At 102 years old, we are the oldest fast food Restaurant chain in the world.We are a Russell 2000 Company that currently distributes its products in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and fifteen foreign countries through its restaurant system, food service sales programs and product licensing activities. Last year, over 600 million hot dogs were sold. Our company was ranked #22 on the Forbes 2014 list of the Best Small Companies in America and was listed as the Best Small Company in New York State in October 2013We are currently looking to hire a Training Manager / Operations specialist for the greater New York area! Broad Function:Responsible for the coordination, planning, execution and effectiveness of the Management Training Program, assist in the improvement of existing programs, in addition to creation of new training experiences. Assist the franchise business consultants with new store openings and training.Principle Responsibilities:

Schedule training of all participants slotted for the certification training program and maintain records of participants who attended.
Follow up, coach and make recommendations pertaining to training needs of all company managers upon completion of the certification program.
Teach all trainees the proper product handling, safety and sanitation procedures
Teach all trainees how to properly operate, clean, assemble, disassemble and troubleshoot equipment associated with the participant's equipment package.
Maintain and control an inventory of training supplies including workbooks, uniforms, specification manuals, tests and other items associated with the training process.
Make the necessary adjustments to the Training Program throughout the year to assure conformance with policy, procedures and practices.
Work with franchise business consultants and management teams of the training restaurant to assure the operation of the unit and all personnel working with the specifications, policies and procedures set forth by the company.
Counsel and discipline trainees during training and communicates to the participants supervisor, as needed.
Coordinate and assist in teaching workshops including but not limited to: Food cost, leadership, sanitation, hiring, interviewing, etc.
Make recommendations for improving the training program and its support material. To include maintaining and updating our e-learning site.
Assist with the implantation of the Team Member Training Program.
Assist in the training of crew and management at our seasonal locations.

Main Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years Restaurant management experience
Proven track record as a trainer
Minimum 2-year degree
Must be mature with the ability to communicate with all levels of management and executives

Company Offer:

$45,000 to $65,000 dependent on experience
