Job Description:

Position Summary:

Under the leadership of the CHRO and assistant director, the HR Business Partner supports assigned cost centers/directors by providing tactical support and strategic consulting on people management and position strategy in support of business objectives. 

The HR Business Partner supports operational business processes and people management including position management/position control, recruitment (job requisitions, sourcing, screening, tracking, and interviewing candidates), development and interpretation of HR policies, and employee relations consultation. In addition, the HR business partner analyze trends and metrics in the cost centers s/he supports to monitor and report on existing workforce, succession planning, and identifying future training program needs.

This position also assists the CHRO and Assistant Director with projects and other general responsibilities related to employment, orientation, retention, training and development, EEO, HRIS, compensation and TJC/CMS survey readiness.


Three to five years experience working in Human Resources with emphasis on generalist functions and employee relations. Must have excellent working knowledge of and experience in applying employment laws and regulations (federal and state).

Must be proficient in the use of computers utilizing MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to create and use PowerPoint presentations and adapt and effectively use HRIS system and other software programs as necessary. High level of demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Ability to relate and interact well with other employees at all levels. Willingness and ability to accept any HR assignments appropriate for HR Business Partner level work (or below).


Bachelor’s degree required. 


National HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred. Human Resources experience required, hospital/healthcare human resources strongly preferred.
