Job Description

The global payroll manager will report to and supports the finance team, with heavy interaction with the human resources team, implementation teams and corporate finance.

The role of this position is to ensure accurate and prompt processing of the organizations payroll and partner with other payroll professionals in the countries IPC employs employees.

The global payroll manager will function with management and his/her job description will include executing and developing global payroll process and regulation as the company keeps advancing.

This role will involve actively participating in developing and documenting processes for company payroll across diverse territories and within all company essence.

The global payroll manager will be in charge of driving and developing the global payroll processes of the company.

This role is delegated the responsibility of executing and developing global payroll strategy and for leading and describing time operations as well as global payroll functions, once it is substantiated.

The global payroll manager will also be accountable for facilitating and developing a global payroll governance procedure to supervise and direct selection of business case projects and payroll vendors.

The Global Payroll Manager will guide direct local finance payroll teams in organizing local payroll functions for the locations which are not included in the global solution.

The individual will also take up the responsibility of all ventures affiliated with the settlement and arrangement of global payroll.

In addition, organizes responsibilities on highly intricate projects with broad latitude for autonomous judgment.

Roles and Responsibilities

       Manage the processing of US/UK and additional international payrolls, including salaried workers, union/non-union, commissions, benefits and taxes to 1,200+ employees consistent with statutory regulations

       Function closely with payroll providers to guarantee that processes are leveled up and deliverables are achieved

       Process employee payroll payments on time and through the appropriate channels

       Complete all HR and Financial reporting documents with highest accuracy

       Calculate and deduct the appropriate amounts from payroll checks, including tax withholdings and other garnishments

       Verify all overtime hours with the appropriate management personnel prior to issuing payroll checks

       Oversee internal payroll and accounting audits on a semi-annual basis

       Maintain general ledger with regard to payroll transactions

       Efficiently manage a team of payroll professionals

       Perform management reports and tax preparation

       Collaborate cross-functionally with HR and individual business units to establish and administer any new procedures relating to payroll administration

       Create and standardize best practices across all operating units

       Centralize payroll processing for EMEA and APAC in Shared Services Centers in London and Hong Kong

       Review accounting journals per pay period and perform timely reconciliation

       Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for executive leadership and conduct statistical payroll analysis

       Be the "go-to" expert for any employee payroll questions

       Responsible for employment verifications

       Answering inquiries from employees and vendors

Skill / Requirements

Global Payroll Manager with 5-10 years of experience for our Corporate Headquarters.

Expert in ADP

Strong aptitude for time management, in addition to excellent organizational ability to attain closing and payroll deadlines.

Heavy concentration in ADP or equivalent processing, ADP custom reporting, excel, word and an intense customer service persona strongly preferred but not required

Knowledge of Oracle and Business Objects reporting

Function closely with payroll providers to guarantee that processes are leveled up and deliverables are achieved

Harmonization of all company bank accounts and general ledger peculiar to payroll promptly

Records all regulations and processes in validation of regulatory prerequisites

Guarantees that all internal controls as recorded in monetary, audit and internal processes are adhered to

Oversee and develop personnel payroll

Guarantee prompt, precise and accurate completion of global payments, procedures and funding

Evaluate and audit all payroll components, wire requests and journal entries

Function closely with the monetary team on diverse elements of the period-end close procedures

Some International Travel may be required

College Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

ADP, American Payroll Association or equivalent certification
