Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated candidate who thrive in a fast-paced environment to join our team. This Assistant Staffing Specialist will be under general supervision of the Sr. Staffing Specialist and Regional Manager. The Assistant Staffing Specialist will contact applicants, source candidates for job opportunities and schedule qualified candidates for our internal branch and onsite locations

Essential Job Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed

?  Contact applicants to present employment opportunities

• Answer incoming candidate calls

• Execute a highly effective customer service model

?  Screen resumes and applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills

?  Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, and employee referrals

?  Arrange for interviews at branch and onsite locations within our organization

?  Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job assignment or career opportunities

?  Publicize openings by posting them in appropriate outlets and work toward developing a pool of qualified individuals

?  Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and possible clients to ensure achievement of interview or staffing goals

• Follow up on messages and emails

• General office management and clerical support

Scope Measures

This individual will have no supervisory responsibilities, as they will be an independent contributor focused on applicant contact and interviewing for qualified candidates for HW Staffing Solutions for our customers. This individual will have no direct spending authority, but will make recommendations and conduct evaluations of current and potential job boards, resume databases and other employment related tools

Background Requirements

• Exceptional customer services skills, including good verbal and written abilities

• Flexibility and ability to deal with change when required, as is the willingness to support multiple functions, business units and recruiters and successfully manage their workload when priorities are shifted

• The candidate must possess strong internet search and Applicant Tracking System skills

• A self-motivated team player with a high sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and multitask

• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships

• Able to maintain a positive attitude

• Self-motivated

• A polite, tactful and friendly attitude

• Desire to work in fast-paced environment

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
