Senior Employee Relations Investigator (Talihina)

Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for conducting investigations for high-risk employment issues, including the interpretation of policies, procedures and in-depth analytical study. Ensure fair and impartial conclusions to bring amiable outcome for all parties involved.

Primary Tasks:

-Manage and conduct thorough investigations of high-risk, sensitive workplace cases to include fraud, theft, harassment, retaliation, etc. received through employee ethics reporting site.
-Collect and perform analysis of employment relations data and support of investigation or appeal outcomes, as required. Manage information from CNO support technologies.
-Prepare comprehensive investigation reports with findings to include evaluation of any process gaps or practices that create legal risk in order to mitigate organizational liability.
-Manage employee due process through appeal review of employment actions. Analyze all employee and management actions leading to the employment action, including proposed outcome.
-Prepare comprehensive appeal analysis reports and determine appeal outcomes.
-Maintain and protect, confidential records regarding investigations with ethics reporting system.
-Identify and report, through the investigation and appeals process, practices that create legal risk in order to mitigate organizational liability.
-Communicate regularly with ER manager and director of ER status of investigations.
-Calibrate/partner with Human resources to facilitate resolution of complaints when appropriate.
-Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

-Working knowledge of federal, state, and tribal employment laws and regulations and other pertinent HR strategic practices.

-Ability to protect confidentiality and personal privacy while handling sensitive documents and records.

    -Ability to build trust based relationships at all levels.

-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

-Five years' of progressive experience in Employee Relations/ complaint investigations or related experience.

-Five years' experience exhibiting negotiating, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.

-Five years demonstrating experience reflecting the ability to protect confidentiality and handling of sensitive documents and records.

Target Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration

-PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification.

-Ability to protect confidentiality.

-Ability to build trust based relationships at all levels.

-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

-Six years' of progressive experience in Employee Relations/ complaint investigations or related experience.

-Six years' experience exhibiting negotiating, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills'

-Six years demonstrating experience reflecting the ability to protect confidentiality and handling of sensitive documents and records.
