What you will do:

  The Group Supported Employment (GSE) Job Coach provides direct support services to adults with developmental disabilities working through the GSE program to ensure high production standards for quality and quantity of output.  The Job Coach Provides individual support and encouragement to Program Participants to help them improve their job skills and move to less restrictive work environments. The incumbent will carry out the goals and objectives for each Program Participant, as determined by the Rehabilitation Manager while providing support in GISA’s rehabilitation process. 

  


  Must Haves:

  

     
  1. Associates  degree preferred or equivalent experience working with people with  developmental disabilities and/or physical handicaps and/or retail store  experience.
  2.  
  3. Understanding  of the Arizona DDD system.
  4.  
  5. Must  possess or be able to obtain: Level 1 Fingerprint card, Article 9,  Prevention and Support, Certified Monitor Training and CPR/First Aid.
  6.  
  7. Must have  a valid Arizona driver license and auto insurance, reliable  transportation, and acceptable driving record.
  8.  
  9. Establish  and maintain effective working relationships.
  10.  
  11. Must have  good retention span, good manual dexterity, and good visual acuity.  
  12. Must be able to lift minimum of 35 pounds.
  13.  
  14. Must be  able to read, write and speak English; English/Spanish bilingual a plus
  15.  
  16. Must be  willing to work with disabled/disadvantaged persons using the prescribed  rehabilitation process of Goodwill.
  17.
