Job Description

Digital Networks Group, an Avidex Company is seeking a Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll Specialist.

As our Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll Specialist you will have the chance to perform all labor compliance duties associated with public works, prepare and submit certified payroll reports, update prevailing wage rates and fringes for various trades, upload weekly payrolls to the DIR, Elations and LCPtracker, prepare fringe benefit statements, DAS 140's, DAS 142's.

You will be responsible for execution and monitoring of all Certified Payroll projects. As the Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll Specialist, you will ensure compliance in completing all paperwork including all Federal, State and local City laws regarding prevailing wage and certified reporting. You will also have the chance to assist in various HR tasks, apprentice training program, skilled and trained compliance and annual audits.

Skill / Requirements

  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of blended prevailing wage hours, PLA requirements and California state prevailing wage laws
  • Must have at least 3 years of LCP Tracker, DIR, OCIP and other certified payroll system experience
  • Strong Analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • High degree of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of accounting and payroll software.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Mastery of Federal and State Payroll regulations and requirements.
  • Associate Degree in relevant field preferred
