This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.  Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a full-cycle Recruiting Administrator to join our DWTSurge team in Seattle. 

The DWTSurge Recruiting Administrator will work closely with the DWTSurge Program Manager to manage full-cycle recruiting for DWTSurge, an innovative alternative legal staffing program at Davis Wright Tremaine.  The program is in its growth stages at the firm and offers an opportunity to be part of an entrepreneurial and rapidly-evolving new business line within an established law firm setting.   
The DWTSurge Recruiting Administrator will have developed recruiting experience and be key in generating high quality candidate pipelines. They will act as a sourcing subject matter expert and will report to the DWTSurge Program Manager to develop alternative-track attorney and legal professional recruiting strategies. This position will be expected to liaise with DWT attorneys, staff, staffing agency vendors, attorney candidates, and DWT clients to assist in providing DWTSurge staffing solutions.  

The DWTSurge Recruiting Administrator is also expected to assist in scaling the DWTSurge program and supporting the development of operational efficiencies in the program. The position will require responsiveness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple requests at the time while maintaining a positive, customer-focused, can-do attitude. 

Additionally, the DWTSurge Recruiting Administrator will be tasked with tracking DWTSurge Program candidates in a firm-wide recruiting platform and collaborating with Lateral and Staff DWT recruiting teams to manage requests and applicants across different positions. Lastly, the DWTSurge Recruiting Administrator is also expected to use the DWTSurge Technology Platform and ensure that information is timely entered into, and maintained, in both recruiting and requisition management platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  •  Work directly with the DWTSurge Program Manager to develop a specific recruitment plan for staffing requests. 
  • Build a strong, diverse pipeline of highly qualified candidates. 
  • Review applications, interview candidates, and provide recommendations to the DWTSurge Program Manager and requesting DWT attorneys.
  • Gather, synthesize, and analyze interview feedback and data to iterate on candidate identification and vetting practices.
  • Conduct reference checks.
  • Draft engaging job posts and manage job posting for all open positions.
  • Manage Surge external-facing content, sites, and LinkedIn posts.
  • Track key staffing metrics and generate relevant reports regarding geographic markets, market rates for candidates, etc.  
  • Strategically build and maintain a pipeline of candidates in advance of requests for Surge solutions and client secondments.
  • Manage next steps for all internal and external candidate referrals.
  • Innovate on current alternative staffing sourcing methods.
  • Liaise with staffing agency vendors and recruiters. Assist in the ongoing evaluation and assessment of current Surge Program vendors.
  • Support other Surge Program team members as needed, including assisting with candidate onboarding, Surge attorney professional development, evaluation tracking, and utilization tracking.
DWTSurge Tech Platform
  • Assist in the development, management, and improvement of the DWTSurge technology platform.
  • Upload information into the DWTSurge technology platform.
  • Support key stakeholders in using the DWTSurge technology platform.
QUALIFICATIONS
  •  Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years’ experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting, required.  Experience in a law firm or other professional services organization is a plus.
  • 2+ years of sourcing experience utilizing a variety of tools such as social media and Boolean searches.
  • Strong analytic ability to track, create, and measure recruiting metrics. 
  • Proven experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships with expert customer relationship skills. 
  • Prior Applicant Tracking System/ Contact Management System experience for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of a professional services organization are required.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and assessing vendor performance.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team settings
  • Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, follow-up, follow-through, and priority setting skills are required; demonstrated ability to practice good judgment
  • Proficient in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.  
  • Ability to travel as necessary to support face-to-face meetings (e.g. office visits or attendance at regional or local office meetings)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
