Job Summary:
Manages and directs the Workflow in various areas of the pharmacy; some of which may include pharmacy services/triage, order entry, medical records, Extemp, Pre-pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits toward their primary objectives, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate leads or supervisors

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered on time
* Controls payroll and utilizes tools/resources available for effective scheduling
* Manage courier costs
* Manage call data (inbound and outbound)
* Dispense advice, guidance, direction and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.
* Review operating results of the organization, compare them to establish objectives and take steps to ensure that appropriate measure are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
* Establish and maintain an effective system of communications though out the organization.
* Access only the minimum amount of patient protected health information needed to perform your JOB/Role well.
* Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
* Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines
* Checks packing list for accuracy
* Other duties as assigned; job duties may vary by location.

Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.

Required Qualifications
* Ability to work at a moderate speed
* Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
* 0-6 months working experience
* Ability to effectively present information to management, peers, and customers
* Must be able to manage 30 or more employees
* Working knowledge of Microsoft products

Preferred Qualifications
* Two to four years related experience and/or training in a long term care pharmacy environment
* PTCB Certification

Education
High school graduate or equivalent.
