Would you like to join Fortune 7 CVS Health leading our dynamic human resources team? As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will work closely with business leaders on both strategic and tactical HR initiatives that are aligned to the company’s business objectives. You will collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure effective development and execution of enterprise-wide programs and initiatives.

This position will support employee engagement efforts across the enterprise to reduce turnover rates while enhancing employee productivity while executing actions plans to introduce and reinforce company culture.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Collaborating with assigned business units and appropriate corporate functions to meet overall location, region or business unit goals and objectives.
* Ensuring optimization of annual site/regional labor costs.
* Guiding leaders on desired staffing and organizational structure models to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness.
* Hiring, onboarding, and developing critical managerial talent.
* Driving HR standardizations, processes, and efficiencies across regional footprint and/or business unit.
* Ensuring manager engagement in appropriate managerial practices, processes, tools, and systems.
* Developing and implementing HR solutions that drive performance improvement and support the short- and long-term company objectives.
* Driving manager accountability for effectively fulfilling the Role of the Manager.
* Working proactively with managers and leaders to evaluate and prepare for future talent needs.
* Serving as a change management leader.
* Facilitating mergers, acquisitions and divestitures (as needed).
* Engaging internal partners, as appropriate, to ensure opportunities are addressed systemically and consistently, with a focus on creating a culture of continuous improvement.

Some managerial responsibilities will also be assigned in this HRBP role. They will include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Responsibility for providing employees with timely, candid and constructive feedback.
* Developing employees to their full potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth.
* Developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
This HRBP will cover multiple sites throughout California and Nevada; travel will be required. The ideal candidate will live in Los Angeles or Sacramento.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
* Business experience in disciplines outside of HR.
* Solid knowledge of HR policies, processes and programs and business insight.
* Sense of urgency and drive for results.
* Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
* Proven success executing change management initiatives.
* Proven ability to work across multiple functions within a matrix environment.
* Demonstrable ability to collaborate with, partner and influence leaders across the organization.
* Responsive, with strong interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills.
* Strong time management and project management skills.
* Demonstrable ability to treat confidential matters with appropriate discretion.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of progressive cross-functional HR experience.
* Ability to travel up to 30% of time, including overnights.

Preferred Qualifications
* Healthcare industry experience.

Education
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
* Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or Human Resources preferred.
