The role is responsible for overseeing the Centura Health Physician Group (CHPG) patient safety program in collaboration with the administrator outcomes effectiveness. This entails reviewing and following up on occurrence reports, tracking and trending data and conducting event reviews (root or proximate cause analysis.) The role will also assess clinics for a culture of safety via the AHRQ survey and rounds, and assist clinic leadership in the development of action plans to drive improvement. The role is also responsible for facilitating the patient safety committee and presenting safety data to the quality committee of the board. Centura Health is on the journey to become highly reliable. This role will directly assist in driving this strategic initiative across the medical group in partnership with senior leadership.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- 3 years experience - preferred
- Ability to analyze and evaluate situations
- Experience in Patient Safety/Risk Management preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, required.
- Current Colorado Nursing License, required.
Physical Requirements- Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
