Responsible for generating and managing coordinated and comprehensive programs in the areas of risk management, loss prevention, and industrial hygiene for Centura Health Physician Group and its affiliates to assure that assets are safeguarded and that quality services are provided in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Centura Health. Will assist the peer review file analysis for every provider presented for payer credentialing as well as the pre-screening process when recruiting new providers. Assist the occurrence reporting system and compliance with follow up on action plans. Supports the coordination of patient safety and risk control functions throughout the organization and other designated Centura facilities. Will assist the Associate Administrator, Risk & Regulatory/Accreditation with patient areas, medical staff, hospital personnel and legal counsel.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- 3 years experience - preferred
- Ability to analyze and evaluate situations
- Experience in Patient Safety/Risk Management preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, required.
- Current Colorado Nursing License, required.
Physical Requirements- Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
