Job Description
CDM Smith is seeking an Intermediate Payroll Specialist to join our Corporate Payroll group in Boston, MA.

As a member this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith’s mission by:

- Processing the firm’s payroll accurately and on time.
- Distributing and prepares payments, calculates overtime and shift payments.
- Monitoring and processing employee time sheets; balancing employee hours and accruals.
- Maintaining payroll records, government compliance and reporting.
- Coordinating and processing any irregular payments (e.g., retro-active payments, tuition assistance, etc.).
- Processing manual paychecks, as necessary.
- Recommending updates and enhancements to the design of the payroll system.
- Assisting with monthly patch testing of payroll system updates, enhancements and bug fixes.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Associate’s degree.
