In order to scale, our team is looking for a Diversity Tech Recruiter who shares a passion for attracting the best and the brightest with a specific focus on diversity hiring. In this role you will partner with Tech Recruiters, hiring teams and affinity groups across Amazon to help shape the direction of our tech diversity strategy by launching innovations, surfacing trends, and driving impactful initiatives.

    You, as the candidate, must be able to successfully manage projects and prioritize multiple deadlines and deliverables against a timeline. Experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and SLA's in a frugal environment will be helpful, comfort around data is a must. You will enjoy thriving in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up your sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, other recruiters and HR business partners. You will have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize your time, demonstrate push back and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing customer obsessed service.

    Core Responsibilities:

    This role will be responsible for helping improve diversity hiring outcomes for technical roles across all of Amazon's G&A functions including Finance, HR, Legal and Corporate Affairs. You will design and implement candidate sourcing strategies that enable these teams to increase the volume of diverse talent hired into the organizations, and will serve as a mentor to other technical recruiters to support their growth and effectiveness in the diversity space. You will need to partner with our diversity project manager and other recruiters to build out diverse tech applicant pools. You will need to understand the demand of hiring managers to attract diverse candidates via grassroots efforts, using ads, hosting and participating in various events. Your core responsibilities will include:

    · Create and implement a staffing business strategy that will be the framework for achieving an annual hiring plan that emphasizes quality and diversity of tech hires, process efficiency, strong client management, and candidate satisfaction.
    · Partner with Tech Recruiters and hiring teams to help shape the direction of our tech diversity strategy by launching innovations, surfacing trends, and driving impactful initiatives.
    · Build effective sourcing and assessment approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
    · Recruit passive candidates and gauge both technical and soft skills of candidates for fit, and to understand candidate motivation.
    · Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct casual interviews with candidate to encourage their application.
    · Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new recruiting processes and fine tuning standard processes that fit within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
    · Articulate in writing a sourcing plan with deliverable, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
    · Build and maintain an ongoing candidate pipeline to support hiring goals.

    Basic Qualifications

    · 5+ years of tech recruiting experience
    · 3+ years of 'full cycle' or 'whole desk' recruiting experience
    · Exceptional candidate sourcing skills, use of Boolean Strings and other sourcing strategies to capture strong passive tech talent
    · Proven analytical skills
    · 2-5 years of project management experience
    · Proficiency with MS Office- including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    · Bachelor’s degree
    · Experienced full lifecycle recruiter, ideally owning tech reqs across multiple business partners and designing req specific recruiting strategies
    · Demonstrated experience in the end-to-end candidate management process including all aspects of offer closing

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Experience sourcing diverse talent, ability to demonstrate knowledge or certification such as the Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR) designation
    · Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills
    · Experience in event coordination including writing proposals with budgets
    · Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and client and vendor relationships
    · Proven ability to execute diversity branding strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace
    · The ability to understand and translate data into strategy
