Job Description

Schedule:  30 - 32 hours a week.

Job Purpose:
Payroll preparation, processing and employee record maintenance using UltiPro Payroll Software.

Goals and Objectives:
• Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner, monitor payroll tax payments and reports, prepare reports for Operations and Financial Accounting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the entire bi-weekly payroll process for approximately 400 employees, which includes:
• Maintenance of payroll documents and files
• Reviewing payroll documents and timesheets
• Calculating deductions and 401k contributions
• Updating payroll system data
• Processing garnishments
• Preparing for direct deposit of company funds for both employee payroll and tax liabilities
• Printing and distributing paychecks
• Initiate and prepare appropriate payroll reports, statements and recordkeeping documents within specified deadlines. Develop custom reports as needed
• Organize and maintain payroll filing systems and business records for the specific areas of responsibility within the Business Office, which includes but is not limited to payroll. This must be done by the Friday following each bi-weekly payroll period
• Oversee current data regarding employee accounts, etc. within the payroll system
• Work closely with Human Resources to preserve the integrity of the UltiPro payroll software and to implement changes in payroll policies and procedures
• Interact extensively with the Business Office staff with training of new personnel and helping to implement new policies, procedures and processes
• Create and maintain a reconciliation of employee and employer 401k contributions
• Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures
• Complete all required trainings and listed in Relias Learning (both online and face-to-face training) within required timelines
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee
Key Technical Skills and Knowledge:
• High school diploma or GED with appropriate accounting and bookkeeping classes
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certificate preferred, but not required

• Minimum of four years of payroll-related experience processing payroll for mid-sized company (300-600 employees)
• UltiPro payroll software experience strongly preferred

• Ability to work independently
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• 10-key adding machine by touch
• Posting and reconciling supplementary ledgers
• Familiarity with financial reporting systems and statements
• Strong oral and written communication skills
