WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Accountable for all US HR functions to include compensation, performance management, employee relations, payroll, workers compensation, benefits, and talent acquisition.
  • Responsible for employee base of 2000+ to include both corporate as well as 7 plant locations across North America
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations and ensure they are adhered to across the organization
  • Ability to partner with employment attorneys and navigate the legal landscape as needed to mitigate claims to reduce risk and exposure
  • Succession planning for high potential employees in both the US and globally
  • Select and implement a HRIS tool for corporate
  • Provide a performance management and succession planning platform
  • Partner with the business to implement best practices around safety in the plants
  • Ability to see across the organization and identify gaps to increase performance and efficiencies
  • Lead, develop and manage a team of 2 with dotted line responsibility and influence of HR Managers in the plants

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 10 +  years related experience
  • SPHR certification a plus
  • Manufacturing experience with multi-site
  • Ability to work in a results driven culture and entrepreneurial environment
  • Very skilled and efficient communicator complimented with excellent presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Strong analytical skills, sense of initiative and drive
  • Ability to motivate people, client & service oriented
