Arizona Central Credit Union is seeking a professional, pleasant, self-motivated, enthusiastic, detail oriented individual to join our Human Resources Team!  If you enjoy helping others, and want to learn more about Human Resources, this may be the perfect position for you!!

Summary of Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment activities such as; telephone screening interviews, applicant reference and background checks, and applicant testing.
  • Enter new hire data into various systems; assist with data entry quality control.
  • Update payroll system with changes such as: taxes, deductions, job changes, salary changes, adjustments, address changes and master file maintenance.
  • Assist with new employee orientation
  • Creates and prepares various HR reports, including bi-weekly payroll reports and various monthly and quarterly reports for management.
  • Orders nameplates and name badges
  • Assist with Parking requests by issuing/removing cards and validating parking tickets.
  • Assist training department by printing and preparing training materials, training tracker data entry, preparing for special events and scheduling.
  • Keep employee files current, organize and maintain HR file room.
  • Assist with department audits.
  • Order and maintain HR department supplies and kitchen supplies.
  • Sort and distribute daily departmental mail.
  • Process employment verifications.
  • Assist with Trip Reduction Program administration.
  • Recommends changes in office practices or procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Skills / Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience:  One to three years of similar or related experience.

Education:  A high school diploma or equivalent.

Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written.

Other skills: Position requires the highest level of confidentiality and the ability to instill trust and confidence. This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office and ADP System, must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented and able to use independent judgment in order to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload. Self-motivation is key to success in this position. A courteous and professional demeanor is required.
