Jobing Description

Responsible for the credit union?s operational human resources functions. Develop, maintain, administer and review personnel programs that contribute to the effectiveness of the organization. Support the credit union?s mission, vision, strategic objectives and service standards. Support and/or provide exceptional internal and external member service

Skills / Requirements

Education and Experience:

Five years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
3 years supervisory experience
Four-year college degree in HR, business, or related field.
PHR or SPHR preferred.
Applicable experience and related training courses may be substituted for education requirements.

Required skills:

Tact and diplomacy are essential for handling difficult employee relations situations
Ability to represent the credit union in a professional manner in public situations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Professional appearance and conduct
Analytical expertise for complex problems
Ability to form relationships with all levels of employees
Conflict management skills
High degree of trust and discretion regarding confidential matters
Intermediate PC Skills (MS Word, Excel)
Extensive working knowledge of all employment laws and regulations
Demonstrated ability to create policies and procedures
Working knowledge of benefits and compensation principles.

Employees must maintain their personal finances in a manner befitting employment by a financial institution
